<br>
<br>
Technically, I started back in the 1990s, contributing to, "Pro Wrestling Illustrated" and then, "Pro Wrestling Torch". In 1997, I contributed to The Official Website of the NWO. That same year, I briefly published my own newsletter, "The Wrestling Express".
<br>
<br>
In 1998, I taught myself how to design websites, and served as a consultant for various independent promotions. That next year, I worked as a website designer/maintainer for Dylan Summers (Necro Butcher) who was running the Texas-based Power Pro Wrestling Federation, and later was involved with Texas Outlaw Promotions.
<Br>
<br>
During the period of 2000-2002, I was involved in many different projects at once. I was working as a website designer/publicist for talent, contributing to WCW.com, writing columns for independent promotions and the website of former WCW star<a href="http://www.thestro.com/col_har0801.html"> The Stro</a>, and writing for a variety of pro-wrestling media sites (including WrestlingObserver.com and PWTorch.com). In 2003, I began running my own website, World Wrestling Optimum, which consisted of news, articles, and interviews.
<br>
<br>
In 2004, I started working for the Michigan-based Ultimate Championship Wrestling as a publicist/columnist. They were an affiliate of American Wrestling Association Superstars Of Wrestling, and I soon became the publicist/columnist of the main governing body of AWA as well. During my time working for UCW, I played a major role in bringing in new talent, due to over the years my having had come into contact with many talents being underused and going unnoticed in the industry. Also, attendance increased by a significant amount.
<br>
<Br>
In 2005, I started doing a column for <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20051024093133/http://3pwrestling.com/HWColumn.htm">3PW</a>. With DVDs sold nationwide, they had the potential to become much bigger than they already were at the time, and were very open to my ideas. I pushed for many changes behind-the-scenes. I had encouraged management to improve the production quality of their DVDs, which led to them dealing with a different production company. 3PW management had planned on waiting for its fan base to increase before getting TV for 3PW. I explained how getting TV for 3PW is what would increase its fan base, and I was then given the green light to find networks that were interested. Two networks were very interested, and I encouraged 3PW management to meet with them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the owner of the company instead opted to shut 3PW down, due to losing interest. Working for 3PW put me in connection with the UK-based <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20050725073420/http://www.1p-w.com/inside.html">1PW</a>, who I worked as a columnist for.
<br>
<br>
After 3PW shut down, I began working as a publicist for independent promotions, including CHIKARA. I also worked as a columnist for CZW. Interestingly though, it was 2006 at this point yet I was still most recognized for the work that I had done for 3PW and AWA/UCW.
<br>
<br>
In 2007 I started working as a columnist for <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20070216225631/http://www.xcwprowrestling.com/xcw/tvnews.php">XCW</a>, a promotion that was seen nationally on MAVTV, had a national DVD deal, and also had PPV events. Working for a promotion of national status was my biggest achievement at that point, and two years later I reached a bigger achievement- <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20191201061554/http://bjw-usa-news.blog.players.tv/category/725806-1.html">Big Japan Pro-Wrestling</a>. Along with working for them as a columnist and an Administrator for their Facebook page, I helped bring Big Japan Pro-Wrestling together with Combat Zone Wrestling to form a working relationship after a previous working relationship between the two promotions had fallen apart. This new working relationship led to Big Japan Pro-Wrestling having its first event in the United States.
<br>
<br>
In October 2009 I assisted publicity & promotions company MGM Management with the HULKAMANIA- Let the Battle Begin tour by distributing their press release to pro-wrestling news sites that are popular with Australian fans, and conducting an interview with Solofa Fatu Jr. (better known as, "Rikishi"). Also, in 2012 I wrote a number of columns for Women Superstars United.
<br>
<br>
In May 2018 I did social media for <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/166603167425290/">Great North Wrestling</a>.
<br>
<Br>
In April and May 2021, I did blogging and social media for <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2021/04/kyushu-pro-wrestling-see-monday-night.html" target="_blank">Kyushu Pro Wrestling</a>. During that time, the promotion gained 220 new subscribers and 52,746 new views on its official YouTube channel.
<br>
<Br>
Recently, I have done blogging and social media for <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2022/12/ypw-results-yanagase-pro-wrestling_29.html" target="_blank">Yanagase Pro Wrestling</a>. Since the time I began writing for them, Yanagase Pro Wrestling announced an event at a 600-seat venue. All previous Yanagase Pro Wrestling events took place at a 50-seat venue.
<Br>
<Br>
I have also recently <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CpLR0LPvufj/?hl=en" target="_blank">written</a> for the China-based Middle Kingdom Wrestling in a Publicist capacity. My work is an essential piece in the multilingual activation, with it being adapted to traditional <a href="http://middlekingdomwrestling.com/8009-2/" target="_blank">Chinese</a> for readers in China. I am the first native English writer who has written for a Chinese wrestling organization in history.
<Br>
<br>
In 2019 I began writing for <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2019/12/michinoku-proresults-tokyo-conference.html">Michinoku Pro Wrestling</a>, in charge of international wrestling. Since the time that I began writing for them, Michinoku Pro stopped choosing Shin-Kiba 1st Ring for its Tokyo events and began focusing on the much larger Korakuen Hall for its Tokyo appearances. The Korakuen Hall is known as a place where many historical moments in the Japanese pro-wrestling scene have occurred. It's to Japan what Madison Square Garden is to the pro-wrestling scene in the United States. Michinoku Pro had a sellout, standing-room-only event on December 13, 2019 at the Korakuen Hall. The event had an attendance of 1,890. That was the highest reported attendance at the Korakuen Hall to date for a pro-wrestling event since April 2015.

Tohoku Tag Team Championship on the Line!Michinoku Pro will present a special event on May 4 at Aomori City Hamanasu Hall (2:00 PM start time). Not only will it celebrate the return of Ringo Yamaya to his hometown of Aomori, but he and Rasse will defend their recently won Tohoku Tag Team Champioship against Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei in the main event. The Tohoku Tag Team Championship has the distinction of having legends a part of its legacy, such as The Great Sasuke, Jinsei Shinzaki, Último Dragón, Kensuke Sasaki, and Dick Togo.
<Br>
<Br>
This will be Rasse & Ringo Yamaya's first defense since winning the Tohoku Tag Team Championship <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/03/tohoku-tag-team-championship-changes.html" target="_blank">last week</a>. While this is Rasse's third reign, Yamaya has quickly shown his value as a tag team partner, accomplishing the impressive feat of becoming a co-holder of the championship with only one year of in-ring experience. Meanwhile, Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei have one of the most outstanding records as Tohoku Tag Team Champions, being the team with the most reigns, with four of them under their belts.

Sae's career began in September 2017, making her debut in REINA, which was a small Chiba-based promotion that focused on women's wrestling. Less than a year later, Sae began appearing in larger promotions, wrestling for Ice Ribbon, ZERO1, WAVE, and PURE-J, honing her abilities all along. But Sae's main focus became the Kanagawa-based SEAdLINNNG, where she became co-holder of the SEAdLINNNG Beyond The Sea Tag Team Championship in 2019. That same year, Sae began wrestling in Yanagase Pro Wrestling, becoming one of the promotion's key lady wrestlers. Today she continues to be a tough challenge for wrestlers who are new to the Ladius/Yanagase Pro Wrestling ring.

Sae's style makes her stand out on the wrestling cards that she’s on. Sae enters the ring gracefully, but once the bell rings, she presents an aggressive moveset that keeps Sae's opponent on the mat, with one of her best combos being going from a hanging figure-four necklock to a flying front dropkick, which never ceases to impress fans.

Although Sae considers Yanagase Pro Wrestling to be her home promotion, Sae can also regularly be seen wrestling in many other promotions. She has been a singles and tag team championship holder in the Nagano-based Shinsyu Girls Pro Wrestling.

Ringo Yamaya defeated Kagetora & Yoshitsune to win the championship, with Yamaya gaining the three count over Kagetora after a La Magistral.

This is the third time that Rasse is Tohoku Tag Team Champion, and Ringo Yamaya's first. Other great teams that are a part of the lineage of the Tohoku Tag Team Championship include Yapper Man 1 & Yapper Man 2, and Jinsei Shinzaki & <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/12/the-great-sasuke-legacy-of-innovation.html">The Great Sasuke</a>.
<br>
<Br>
Rasse and Ringo Yamaya had wrestled each other many times since Yamaya's debut in May 2022, with Rasse displaying power moves and submissions, while Yamaya showed fighting spirit. This year they combined their strengths and began tag teaming, with Rasse and Yamaya's contrasting styles complementing each other. Rasse can control an opponent in the ring, weakening them. Yamaya can capitalize on this opening with high-energy attacks, potentially leading to a quick pinfall.
<br>
<Br>
The Tohoku Tag Team Championship victory is an impressive highlight on the resumes of Rasse and Ringo Yamaya. Along with this being Rasse's third Tohoku Tag Team Championship reign, he has won the Chiba Six Man Tag Team Championship a record three times. Meanwhile, with only one year of in-ring experience, Yamaya has accomplished the impressive feat of becoming co-holder of one of the most legitimate tag titles in pro-wrestling, with the prestigious Tohoku Tag Team Championship having the distinction of having legends as a part of its legacy. Along with the earlier-mentioned legends, Último Dragón, Kensuke Sasaki, and Dick Togo have also held the championship.
<Br>
<br>
Ringo Yamaya has been a member of the Michinoku Pro roster ever since his pro-wrestling career began, and although Rasse is a freelancer, he has wrestled in Michinoku Pro for most of his career, and spends enough time in the promotion to call Michinoku Pro his home.

In fact, the first match of his career was at YPW's debut event. Much is not known about Fuerza, to the extent that even where he received his wrestling training is a mystery. But what is definitely known is that Fuerza possesses technical skills beyond his years of ring experience that leave a lasting impression on fans every time he competes in a YPW ring.

Being a masked wrestler his entire career, Yanagase Kamen Fuerza's true identity is a closely guarded secret- even his birthplace is not known. This makes Fuerza one of the most intriguing wrestlers on the independent Japanese wrestling scene. The name, "Yanagase Kamen Fuerza" translates to "Yanagase Masked Force", which fits a wrestler with his fighting spirit. While details regarding Fuerza's personal life and athletic background are unknown, his energetic performances in the ring show that he has a passion for the pro-wrestling industry.

Being with Yanagase Pro Wrestling since day one, Yanagase Kamen Fuerza has earned the reputation of being YPW's ace, being a favorite of many members of the promotion's loyal fanbase as he displays impressive chain wrestling during his matches.

Able to seamlessly transition between grappling holds and technical maneuvers, as well as not being a stranger to aerial attacks, Yanagase Kamen Fuerza has had the opportunity to display his talents outside of Yanagase Pro Wrestling. For example, Fuerza has wrestled for ZERO1 on two occasions.
<Br>
<Br>
Although Yanagase Kamen Fuerza competes both in singles and tag team matches, he most often sees tag team action, usually teaming with <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/01/jack-kennedy-born-raised-in-america.html" target="_blank">Jack Kennedy</a>. Their team is named "Ace Power", representing Fuerza's ace status
and Kennedy's power advantage that he has in matches. They have good tag team chemistry, with Fuerza's technical skills complementing Kennedy's strength, making them a competitive team.
<Br>
<Br>
Yanagase Kamen Fuerza is synonymous with Yanagase Pro Wrestling, and as YPW's fanbase grows, so will Fuerza's impact on the industry, as more fans learn about the fighting spirit of Yanagase's masked force.

Although Tomoryu has wrestled in many promotions including FMW, his home promotion is HERO, which was launched in February 2010, and at the time they were known as “DEAF JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING HERO”, due to the fact that their goal was to create events that would serve as a bridge between the hearing impaired and people who are not hearing impaired. In August 2016, the promotion’s name was changed to “HERO: Barrier-Free Pro-Wrestling”, with their target audience becoming not only the hearing impaired but also the visually impaired, people who use wheelchairs, and pro-wrestling fans in general. HERO’s roster includes hearing-impaired wrestlers who compete in matches with the other wrestlers, which shows that HERO’s, “barrier-free” attitude even extends to the ring.

This victory signifies not only Tomoryu's honed skills but also the culmination of years respecting Genichiro Tenryu's fighting spirit and Tomoryu's unwavering passion for professional wrestling.

Although Tomoryu wrestles able-bodied wrestlers, he does not fully consider his hearing loss to be a handicap, and he overcomes it through strong will and training.
<br>
<Br>
The only remaining original member of HERO, Tomoryu's contributions extend far beyond what he does in the ring as the wrestler's chairman of HERO and being the leader and organizer of the wrestlers' association, which demonstrates his dedication to the well-being and fair treatment of the HERO roster. This leadership role sheds light on Tomoryu's character, showcasing his well-roundedness and his passion for the industry as a whole.
<Br>
<Br>
Tomoryu's championship success, tenacity in the ring, and leadership role within HERO make him an inspirational figure in the pro-wrestling industry. With hard work and dedication, not only to his career but also to the careers of the other wrestlers on the HERO roster, Tomoryu has the potential to continue making a significant impact both in and outside of the ring.Harold Williamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03636764192116913637noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4082823379173244578.post-84144259686327772772024-03-12T01:42:00.003+09:002024-03-18T10:37:38.663+09:00[YPW][TwitCasting] Yanagase Pro Wrestling on 3/16 LIVEOne week after the ladies of <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/03/ypwtwitcasting-ladius-friday-night.html" target="_blank">Ladius</a> were in action, YPW will bring their men's division to SPORTS BAR M's Cafe this Saturday, March 16, with the event starting at <a href="https://dateful.com/time-zone-converter?t=630am&d=2024-03-16&tz2=EST-EDT-Eastern-Time" target="_blank">19:30</a> Japan Time. MUSASHI and Yoshitsune have been on opposite sides of the ring for tag matches, including when Yoshitsune and Kagetora defeated MUSASHI and Kazuki Hashimoto for the Tohoku Tag Team Championship at a Michinoku Pro event last year. But this will be thier first singles match against each other, and considering the fact that MUSASHI's post-Michinoku Pro future has yet to be fully revealed, it's possible that this will be their first and only encounter, making it one to not be missed.

It's appropriate that she will be the first Japanese female wrestler in <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/08/the-history-of-womens-wrestling-in-japan.html" target="_blank">history</a> to be a member of WWE's HOF- Nakano has one of the most impressive resumes in Japanese women's wrestling, with the legend having left a mark on women's wrestling in Japan, Mexico, and America.
<br>
<Br>
Bull Nakano's career began in AJW, where she held the AJW, WWWA Tag Team, and AJW Junior Championships before she turned 20 years old, with her reign as AJW Champion being the longest in history. Nakano held the All Pacific Championship in 1989, and then went on to win the WWWA World Championship in January 1990, beginning a reign that became the longest in the WWWA World Championship's history. Not even ten years into her career at that point, Nakano had already cemented her status as a remarkable member of the industry. But Nakano's championship success was just beginning.

In 1992, Bull Nakano began wrestling in Mexico, where she became the first CMLL World Women's Champion in CMLL's history.

In 1994, Bull Nakano returned to WWE (she had wrestled for them previously in 1986), and after being with the company for only six months, Nakano won the WWE (WWF) Women's Championship, becoming the first Japanese woman wrestler to hold a WWE singles championship. The match occurred in November 1994 at <a href="https://amzn.to/3Tak6YU" target="_blank">AJW Doumu Super Woman Great War - Big Egg Wrestling Universe</a>, with her opponent being Alundra Blayze.

Bull Nakano was known for her innovative in-ring style, which was a blend of power moves and surprising agility, making her a dominant wrestler wherever she competed. Another aspect that made Nakano stand out was that she was unique. It's often said that the easiest path to success is to model yourself after those who are already successful. Instead of doing that, Nakano looked and acted differently from everyone else. She was her own person, which put Nakano on a more fruitful path.
<Br>
<Br>
Add Bull Nakano's charisma and intensity that she displayed during matches, and Nakano had all of the makings of an icon of women's wrestling. Being a member of the WWE Hall of Fame is not just recognition of a wrestler's accomplishments, but also the impact that they have had on the industry. Bull Nakano inspired a generation of female wrestlers and helped elevate the perception of women's wrestling on a global scale. Her forthcoming induction is well-earned.

Today, while celebrating her past achievements, Bull Nakano also has her eyes set on the future, with the potential to once again elevate the perception of women's wrestling. Bull Nakano is now the Commissioner of Sukeban, a new Japanese wrestling league that is based in the United States, with Sukeban events being hosted in New York and Florida last year. The industry and fans alike are eager to see how her experience and leadership will shape this exciting venture. Nakano's legacy precedes her, and as Sukeban Commissioner, Nakano takes on the role of a pillar of the league, leveraging her experience to shape Sukeban's future.

Returning to Gifu and Ladius only days after this championship victory will definitely be a source of motivation for Mari Manji when she goes against Sae this week, as they continue their series of matches. However, Manji defeated Sae in their most recent encounter, and Sae has no plans on losing to Manji two times in a row. The series continues this Friday, and you can watch it live on <a href="https://twitcasting.tv/gifu_yana_pro/shopcart/296183" target="_blank">TwitCasting</a> for only 1,000 yen, which is around 7 USD. <b>PLUS</b>, 15 minutes before Ladius wrestling action, there will be a live performance by singer Runo Tauchi. Her style of music can be described as being a blend of J-Pop and the ambient/relaxing style.

Oosera is a protégé of legend Dick Togo, who became the first Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion in the company’s history, so it's safe to say that Oosera has the tools needed to be a part of Michinoku Pro's bright future both in the ring and behind the scenes.
<Br>
<Br>
Still young, Yasutaka Oosera has a moveset beyond his years as a result of receiving great training, and Oosera presents an understanding of the ring that is similar to a seasoned veteran's. His technical wrestling style enables him to be competitive in matches with opponents of any level of experience, as Oosera manipulates their strengths and weaknesses, and gains the advantage in matches through calculated counters and well-timed submissions.
<Br>
<Br>
Although Yasutaka Oosera is equally capable in singles and tag team matches, he is most often seen showing his teamwork and chemistry with other wrestlers in tag team action. In fact, Oosera recently was amongst a group of young wrestlers who collectively considered themselves to be the new generation of Michinoku Pro and feuded with what was considered to be the current generation of the company, and he often teamed with his fellow members for matches during this feud. And win or lose, Oosera always left a lasting impression on fans.
<Br>
<br>
On February 27, 2024, Yasutaka Oosera celebrated his 7th anniversary as a professional wrestler with a Michinoku Pro-hosted <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/01/michinoku-pro-yasutaka-oosera-7th.html" target="_blank">event</a> in Oosera's birth prefecture of Osaka. His opponent at this event was Dick Togo, which made their match one between student and teacher.

<Br>
Yasutaka Oosera's seven years in the pro-wrestling industry is a testament to his dedication to it, and surely there will be many more years to follow.
<Br>
<Br>
And Yasutaka Oosera is an asset to Michinoku Pro not only for what he does in the ring, but also outside of it. As the head trainer in the Michinoku Pro Dojo, Oosera uses his technical skills, ability to easily adapt to singles and tag team matches no matter the partner or opponent, and dedication to prepare the future generation of Michinoku Pro for the challenges of the ring. By the time Oosera's wrestling career is over, which likely will be far away from now, he will have left his mark in Michinoku Pro as a wrestler who not only entertains fans today, but also as a trainer who developed the wrestlers of the future who will entertain those same fans for many years after he hangs up his boots.

And Michinoku Pro's March 16 event (6:00 PM start time) at Yahaba Town Citizens General Gymnasium will be a very special one, as the match card is according to the wishes of former two-time Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/12/wrestler-spotlight-musashi-veteran.html" target="_blank">MUSASHI</a>, who will be graduating from Michinoku Pro this month. The opponent that he has chosen for his, "Graduation Match" at this event is NJPW star DOUKI.

<br>
<br>
Although MUSASHI and DOUKI have never competed in a singles match before, both men are very familiar with each other. MUSASHI and DOUKI have been on the same and opposite sides of the ring in tag team matches while in Mexico in 2018, they were tag team partners in Michinoku Pro in 2019, and they were opponents in tag team matches in NJPW last year. With a history that dates back six years and spans multiple promotions, along with the respect that they have for each other, DOUKI is a good choice as one of MUSASHI's final opponents before he graduates from Michinoku Pro.

Rasse has been most recognized for having a fast-paced style featuring an aerial offense, which makes him a perfect fit for Michinoku Pro's <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/10/how-michinoku-pro-is-unique.html" target="_blank">unique</a> environment that spotlights fast-paced junior heavyweight action. In recent years, Rasse utilizes the strength advantage that he often has in matches, using power moves and submissions on his opponent.

<Br>
<Br>
It's rare to see Rasse in singles action, being that he is a very accomplished tag team wrestler. Rasse won the Tohoku Tag Team Championship in 2007 and 2012 with two different partners, and he won the Chiba Six Man Tag Team Championship a record three times in 2019 with Yapper Man 1 and Yapper Man 2.
<Br>
<br>
Although Rasse mainly wrestles in Michinoku Pro, he has also appeared in other prominent promotions during his career, wrestling on NJPW and BJW television shows in 2006. Wrestling in these promotions with styles distinct from Michinoku Pro's showed Rasse's ability to appeal to diverse wrestling fans, highlighting his versatility as a talent. And in 2015, Rasse wrestled in promotions located in other parts of Asia as well as in Europe and Australia, further showing his versatility.
<Br>
<Br>
Despite Rasse's tag team championship success that has solidified his place in the world of Japanese professional wrestling, and matches that Rasse has had overseas where he has demonstrated to pro-wrestling fans outside of Japan what he can do in the ring, many fans have not seen Rasse in action. He wrestled overseas during a time that <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/08/the-future-of-wrestling-in-age-of.html" target="_blank">streaming</a> was not as recognized as it is today, and for many years it has been difficult to see the Michinoku Pro product outside of Japan. That will change in March, when Michinoku Pro will expand its international reach as it joins the ranks of <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/02/michinoku-pro-is-coming-to-wrestle.html" target="_blank">WRESTLE UNIVERSE</a>.
<Br>
<Br>
So, whether you're a longtime fan of Michinoku Pro or someone who appreciates wrestlers who have movesets that include aerial and power moves, Rasse is a talent to check out. He has given over two decades to the pro-wrestling industry and continuously is a wrestler who Michinoku Pro can count on to entertain its audiences.

In August 2016, the promotion’s name was changed to “HERO: Barrier-Free Pro-Wrestling”, with their target audience becoming not only the hearing impaired but also the visually impaired, people who use wheelchairs, and pro-wrestling fans in general.
<Br>
<Br>
HERO’s roster includes hearing-impaired wrestlers who compete in matches with the other wrestlers, which shows that HERO’s, “barrier-free” attitude even extends to the ring. HERO events also feature familiar faces, which will happen again on Saturday, April 27 at Shinkiba 1stRING (1-6-24 Shinkiba, Koto-ku, Tokyo), with the event starting at 6:45 PM (doors will open at 6:15 PM). This HERO event will feature a legend of the ring, as Atsushi Onita will be one of the competitors! He is currently a co-holder of the All Asia Tag Team Championship in AJPW.
<Br>
<Br>
Atsushi Onita rose to fame in the pro-wrestling industry as a result of his many successes, which included winning the NWA International Junior Heavyweight Championship (a record three times), the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship, the FMW Double Championship (a record seven times), and the FMW Six Man Street Fight Tag Team Championship. Onita is also credited with helping the hardcore / deathmatch style become popular in Japan.

And now, one of pro-wrestling's most <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/10/how-michinoku-pro-is-unique.html" target="_blank">unique</a> companies will further expand its international reach as it officially joins the ranks of WRESTLE UNIVERSE in March! This marks a monumental moment for both Michinoku Pro and WRESTLE UNIVERSE, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to the world of online wrestling as Michinoku Pro will become one of the latest companies to increase in visibility while utilizing <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/10/how-to-use-streaming-services-to-reach.html" target="_blank">streaming services to reach a wider audience</a>, reshaping how wrestling content is distributed and consumed internationally.

Michinoku Pro was founded by <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/12/the-great-sasuke-legacy-of-innovation.html" target="_blank">The Great Sasuke</a> in his hometown of Iwate, Japan. The company is named after the north-eastern area of the Tōhoku region, which was called "Michinoku" ("end of the road") in ancient times. Michinoku Pro is dedicated to bringing pro-wrestling to Iwate, and most of its events take place there. In the beginning, Michinoku Pro was a small operation with only a few staff members. Since then, the company has seen much success. Michinoku Pro <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2020/01/michinoku-pro-michinoku-pros-national.html" target="_blank">DVDs</a> are sold in stores nationwide, and Michinoku Pro drew a <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2019/12/michinoku-proresults-tokyo-conference.html" target="_blank">sellout</a>, standing room only crowd of 1,890 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo in December 2019, which was the highest reported attendance at the Korakuen Hall for a pro-wrestling event since April 2015. Also, the company has been running shows for over 30 years, when the average lifespan of a promotion is 10 years.
<Br>
<br>
Michinoku Pro's style is a combination of the traditional Japanese style with the lucha libre style, as many of the matches in Michinoku Pro feature high-flying and fast-paced action. And while most promotions in Japan and other parts of the world utilize a junior heavyweight championship as a midcard championship, Michinoku Pro utilizes its Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Championship as the top championship in the company, as well as its only currently active singles championship. With the Michinoku Pro roster mainly consisting of junior heavyweights, athleticism is one of the main aspects of matches at a Michinoku Pro event, with the wrestlers performing moves that are best done by junior heavyweights. And the company features a roster of talent that consists of names that fans outside of Japan know, as well as ones they SHOULD know!
<Br>
<Br>
Joining WRESTLE UNIVERSE provides Michinoku Pro with a global platform to showcase their unique brand of wrestling to a wider audience that up to now has only read and seen pictures of what Michinoku Pro has to offer. For WRESTLE UNIVERSE, Michinoku Pro's arrival will add another layer of diversity and excitement to its already-impressive lineup of promotions that caters to a wide range of fan preferences and has something for everyone who enjoys Japanese wrestling.
<br>
<Br>
Michinoku Pro's arrival on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will be a game-changer for both parties, as Michinoku Pro will reach new heights while WRESTLE UNIVERSE will solidify its position as one of the premier destinations for Japanese wrestling. It's safe to say that WRESTLE UNIVERSE is ready to impress the world in 2024, with Michinoku Pro taking it to another level. A free trial of WRESTLE UNIVERSE is currently available, and you can start it <a href="https://www.wrestle-universe.com/en/lp" target="_blank">here</a>.

Risa Sera is a 2-time former ICExInfinity Champion (the top singles championship in Ice Ribbon), with her second reign being the second-longest in the history of the championship. Sera has also seen success in Stardom, where she has held the Artist Of Stardom Championship. Currently, Sera is a co-holder of the WAVE Tag Team Championship, with this being her second reign. Sera is also the leader of Prominence, a unit that produces the shows of the same name. So, Risa Sera will be making her homecoming as a successful and notable member of the pro-wrestling industry. And in the main event of Sera's homecoming show, she will team with Miran (as seen in Stardom, Ice Ribbon, and PURE-J), and former AJW star Jaguar Yokota to face Kyoko Inoue, fellow Prominence member and former Ice Ribbon star Akane Fujita, and Nanami (as seen in Stardom, ZERO1, Ice Ribbon, Sendai Girls, WAVE, and PURE-J).

JADE's career had a great start as he won his debut match.
<br>
<br>
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/TNX6rSnPfhs?si=ud3AI88698eAqm2G" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<Br>
That same year, only nine months into his career, JADE was a participant in AJPW Real World Tag League 2015, which was an early sign that tag team wrestling would become his specialty. JADE also stopped wrestling in the Chugoku region of Japan (where he is from and where Tottori Darazu Pro-Wrestling is based)
and began exploring promotions in the Kansai region of Japan. In 2019, JADE finally made his way to the Chubu region's <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2023/08/yanagase-pro-wrestling-closer-look.html" target="_blank">Yanagase Pro Wrestling</a>, where JADE continues to wrestle frequently.

<Br>
<Br>
JADE's style is aggressive, which has often been labeled "bullyish", most likely because during his entrances, it's common for JADE to drench fans sitting at ringside in water from a plastic bottle. During a match, he is very unpredictable, which keeps fans on the edge of their seats as they eagerly anticipate JADE's next move. And sometimes his intensity leads to him bringing the action <i>to</i> those seats, as evidenced during a match at a <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2022/12/ypw-results-yanagase-pro-wrestling.html" target="_blank">December 2022</a> Yanagase Pro Wrestling event at SPORTS BAR M's Cafe against <a href="https://www.harold-williams.com/2024/01/wrestler-spotlight-kenta-kosugi.html" target="_blank">Kenta Kosugi</a>. As they delivered stiff shots to each other, JADE took the battle into the crowd, and even outside the venue.

<Br>
<Br>
Although JADE is a tough competitor in singles matches, it's tag team wrestling that he excels the most at. JADE can quickly develop good chemistry with someone who he is teaming with for the first time, and this specialization in tag team wrestling helped him become co-holder of the Kanto region-based Chigasaki Pro-Wrestling's
Twin Wave Tag Team Championship for a reign that is the longest in the championship's history.
<Br>
<Br>
One of the most impressive aspects of JADE's arsenal is his array of kicks. No matter whether JADE is targetting his opponent's head, legs, or chest, JADE always delivers kicks with power and precision.

All throughout JADE's career, he has done things his own way, and it has helped JADE stand out on the independent Japanese wrestling scene. Currently at a transitional point in his career, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for JADE.
