[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Multi-time former BJW Death Match Heavyweight Champion added to the 6/04/21 Tokyo event!

When it was announced that The Great Sasuke, Jinsei Shinzaki, and BJW founder Great Kojika will be facing Brahman Shu, Brahman Kei, and a mystery partner (w/ Pretty Ota) in a, "Coffin" match on Friday, June 4 (6:00 PM start time) when Michinoku Pro makes its return to Tokyo's Korakuen Hall, it was a safe bet that Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei were going to have a partner who would be well prepared to adapt to an unpredictable match with a format that has not been announced yet.

And it indeed is true, as it has been announced that Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei's partner for their six man tag team match will be Abdullah Kobayashi, a top talent in BJW, a promotion that specializes in hardcore wrestling. Kobayashi is five-time former BJW Death Match Heavyweight Champion, with his third reign being the fifth-longest reign in BJW history.

Along with having had been at the top of BJW as a singles wrestler, Abdullah Kobayashi is an accomplished six man tag team wrestler as well. He is an eight-time former Yokohama Shopping Street Six Man Tag Team Champion, as well as the fifth longest-reigning holder of the Championship in pro-wrestling history.

[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] AEW star and Japanese legend Emi Sakura returns at the 6/04/21 Tokyo event!

Previously appearing at 2020 Tokyo Tournament-Struggle for Power in December, Emi Sakura will be making her return to Michinoku Pro at 2021 Tokyo Tournament-One Sword Cut on June 4 at the Korakuen Hall (6:00 PM start time). A legend of the ring, she is currently best known for her appearances in AEW, a United States-based company which presents a program on national TV every week.

Emi Sakura participated in an AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament in February, making it to the semi-finals.

Before joining AEW, Emi Sakura had already established herself as a legend during her career in Japan, her championship reigns including the AJW Championship, the NWA Women's Pacific Championship, the JWP Openweight Championship, the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship, the JWP Tag Team Championship, and the Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championship. Sakura was also the winner of the JWP Best Bout Award in 2012.

Along with having a greatly successful career as a wrestler, Emi Sakura is also an accomplished trainer. She has been responsible for launching the careers of over 40 wrestlers, the biggest achievers being current AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida and former AEW Women's Champion Riho. In 2019, Sakura competed with Riho in a match for the Championship at an AEW PPV event.

Emi Sakura will be returning to the Korakuen Hall on June 4 with wrestlers from Gatoh Move, a Thailand-based promotion that she is the founder of and where she has held the Asia Dream Tag Team Championship. Her match at this Michinoku Pro event will represent Gatoh Move, as she will team with Gatoh Move talent Yuna Mizumori (who has also held the Asia Dream Tag Team Championship) against Mei Suruga & Baliyan Akki, the current Asia Dream Tag Team Champions.

Don't miss this opportunity to see Emi Sakura and Gatoh Move! This Michinoku Pro event will be limited to 713 seats. Tickets are available for sale via Michinoku Pro Wrestling Online Shop, Lawson Ticket, Ticket Pia, e +, Famiport, Pro Wrestling Shop Champion, and via Michinoku Pro Wrestling Telephone Reservation- 019 (687) 2431.

[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Main event announced for the 6/04/21 Tokyo event!

On Friday, June 4, 6:00 PM start time, Michinoku Pro makes its return to Tokyo's Korakuen Hall, the Madison Square Garden of Japan!

It will be an exciting night of action, with the main event seeing The Great Sasuke, Jinsei Shinzaki, and BJW founder Great Kojika vs Brahman Shu, Brahman Kei, and a mystery partner (w/ Pretty Ota)!

There will be a lot of six man tag team experinece involved in this match, on both sides. The Great Sasuke is 2-time former Chiba Six Man Tag Team Champion, while Great Kojika is a former Yokohama Shopping Street Six Man Tag Team Champion, as well as second longest-reigning holder of the Championship in pro-wrestling history.

Meanwhile on the opposing team, Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei have seen six man tag team success as well, being former KO-D Six Man Tag Team Champions and former Yokohama Shopping Street Six Man Tag Team Champions. They are also 2-time Chiba Six Man Tag Team Champions, and ironically, their partner during both reins was The Great Sasuke.

However, this match will be a style of six man tag team match that all four men are not accustomed to, as this match will be a, "COFFIN" match! Although the format of the match has not been announced yet, it's a safe bet that the coffin's presense will be an intimidating factor in the match. One of the competitors in the match who may be able to maintain his composure though is Jinsei Shinzaki, being that he looked death in the eyes when he took on the legendary Undertaker at Michinoku Pro's 4th Anniversary event in 1997.

And who will be the partner of Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei? In the ever-changing world of pro-wrestling, it's anyone's guess who it will be.

Also in action when Michinoku Pro makes its return to Tokyo's Korakuen Hall will be:

Rui Hyugaji (Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion)

Nohashi (former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion)

Ken45 ° (former Tohoku Tag Team Champion)

Manabu Murakami (former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion)

Rasse (former Tohoku Tag Team Champion)

Yappeman No. 1 and No. 2 (former Tohoku Tag Team Champions)

GAINA (former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion)

MUSASHI (former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion)

Ayumu Gunji (former Tohoku Tag Team Champion)

PLUS: Yasutaka Oosera, Koji Kawamura, Yasuyoshi Ogasawara, and MORE!
