[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Former NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champion added to the 4/18/20 Tokyo event!

At a recent BASARA event, Masahiro Takanashi was defeated for the Union Pro MAX Title, and sustained an injury during the match, diagnosed as a fracture of the left foot fibula and tibia. He was scheduled to be at 2020 Tokyo Conference Vol. 2 on April 18 at Shinkiba First Ring in Tokyo (7:00 PM start time) in tag team action. His replacement, will be the man who defeated him for the Union Pro MAX Title- Fuminori Abe.

Along with being at the top of BASARA as a singles wrestler, Fuminori Abe is an accomplished tag team wrestler as well. In June 2018, he and Ikuto Hidaka captured the NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Championship and held it for 311 days, making them the sixth longest-reigning NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champions in pro-wrestling history.

[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Match change for the 2020 Tokyo Conference Vol. 2 4/18/20 event

Taiwan-based wrestler Gaia was originally scheduled to face Rekka from New Taiwan Professional Wrestling at 2020 Tokyo Conference Vol. 2 on April 18 at Shinkiba First Ring in Tokyo (7:00 PM start time). While Rekka is already in Japan, Gaia unfortunately is not, and has stated,
"I'm very sorry for unable to wrestle in the event.
Due to Taiwan' Coronavirus policy,I can't flight to Japan(any country actually).
Sorry for the fans who was looking forward to see me perform in Japan.
I'll catch you guys on Michinoku's ring next time"

With Gaia now being unable to participate in the event, he has been substituted by Baliyan Akki, the first, and thus far, only Indian pro-wrestler in Japan.

Baliyan Akki is far from being a stranger to the Japanese pro-wrestling scene, wrestling in Japan on a regular basis.
