[ESW] 1/19 Card Updates! 2 Cold Scorpio's Opponent Named! Former ROH World Tag Team Champion Added!

Former WWE Superstar 2 Cold Scorpio will be making his Empire State Wrestling debut on Friday, January 19 at the Frontier Fire Hall (2176 Liberty Drive, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; 7pm start time, doors open at 6pm) when ESW presents "Frontier Freeze", and he will be facing a hardcore wrestling specialist when he steps into the ring with his opponent, Channing Decker.

Channing Decker has experience wrestling in Japan's longest-running hardcore / deathmatch wrestling promotion, BJW, as well as Canada's most extreme promotion, the IWS. Meanwhile, 2 Cold Scorpio showed he can adapt to the hardcore style during his time in ECW, where he held the ECW World Television Championship a record four times. So this will be an unpredictable match to not be missed.

Considered to be one of the best tag teams of the early 2000s, Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid, known collectively as The Backseat Boyz, won many championships including the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the CZW Tag Team Championship, with their reign as CZW Tag Team Champions being the second-longest in history. While Acid unfortunately is no longer with us, today Kashmere is a manager, guiding the careers of the new generation of BackSeatz Boyz (JP Grayson & Tommy Grayson) on a path to their own tag team success. However, along with being an accomplished tag team wrestler, Kashmere has been successful as a singles wrestler as well, winning the BJW World Junior Heavyweight Championship in 2001. And at Frontier Freeze, he will make his return to the ESW ring in a singles match with a surprise opponent who Kashmere will be wrestling for the first time ever.
