Wrestler Spotlight: Lowther - A Veteran Addition to Yanagase Pro Wrestling

Lowther's career began in 2012, with him making his debut in Tottori Darazu Pro-Wrestling, a promotion where he wrestled often for years. A masked wrestler who tended to be taller than his opponents and utilized a unique combination of strength, technical wrestling, submissions, and aerial moves, Lowther easily stood out amongst the other wrestlers in Tottori Darazu Pro-Wrestling.

One of Lowther's earliest championship victories took place in Tottori Darazu Pro-Wrestling, as he won the SWA certified Sanin unified championship at a Tottori Darazu Pro-Wrestling event in 2014.

By 2015, Lowther had begun to earn opportunities with bigger promotions, such as DDT, AJPW, and BJW, allowing him to display his talents on larger stages. But the independent scene remained Lowther's main focus, which eventually led him to Yanagase Pro Wrestling in 2021, a promotion that features a variety of wrestling styles. Although still a freelance wrestler, YPW became one of the promotions that Lowther wrestled the most in. His ring style added to the diversity of YPW, making the promotion even more appealing to the wrestling audience in Gifu, where YPW is based.

In September 2023, Yanagase Pro Wrestling became Lowther's home promotion, and he is also a member of Kosuken Pro Wrestling, a unit that wrestles in YPW and produces their own events. He and fellow Kosuken Pro Wrestling members Kenta Kosugi and Mari Manji won the Wrestle Brain Cup at the first event in October 2023.

Being a veteran wrestler, Lowther brings a wealth of experience in various wrestling styles, and he can guide the newer generation of wrestlers who are on the Yanagase Pro Wrestling roster, sharing deep knowledge of grappling techniques & submissions with them, expanding their movesets and making them more versatile in the ring, while Lowther also sets a positive example with dedication, professionalism, and commitment to his craft.
