A Look at Wrestler SykoStu's Background Following Viral Incident with Raja Jackson

Reports have surfaced about an incident involving professional wrestler SykoStu and Raja Jackson (son of former MMA fighter and actor Rampage Jackson) at a wrestling show that was presented by the California-based KnokX Pro on Saturday, August 23rd. The event, which has led to viral video clips and widespread debate online, has shone a light on SykoStu's unique and compelling background. This article provides a factual account of the events and gives a closer look at the wrestler at the center of the controversy.

The Incident

The incident between SykoStu and Raja Jackson began earlier in the day outside the venue. SykoStu confronted Jackson and smashed a can on Jackson's head, which appeared to escalate tensions.

Later, during the show, Raja Jackson, who was sitting at ringside and has MMA experience, ran into the ring and attacked SykoStu during a match. Before the attack, Jackson is heard saying to someone on a phone that "they" said he, "could hit [SykoStu] for real."

Following the attack, a separate video surfaced of Raja Jackson on the phone with someone named "Andre," who tells Jackson, "I told you to double-leg [him]." Jackson replied that his actions were done because he was "pissed off".

In another video, Raja Jackson is heard yelling about "everybody playing with me," "calling me bitch," and "trying to jump me." Afterwards, he was convinced by someone who was with him to leave the area.

Rampage Jackson later commented on the situation via a post on X, providing his perspective:

Stuart "SykoStu" Smith: A Soldier Finds His Purpose in Wrestling

SykoStu, whose real name is Stuart Smith, is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a sergeant. After his military service, professional wrestling became a positive and transformative outlet for him, helping him cope with the challenges of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the transition back to civilian life. SykoStu joined KnokX Pro six months after leaving the Army in 2009. The promotion gave him something to focus on and helped him adjust back into civilian life. In the ring, SykoStu has been able to let out aggression while pursuing something that he is passionate about. KnokX Pro has referred to him as being not only a competitor, but also a, "survivor, a warrior, and a reminder that healing comes in many forms."

The incident between SykoStu and Raja Jackson has sparked a debate among fans about the boundaries of a wrestling work and an assault. While the full story is still developing, the event has also resulted in the powerful and personal journey of Stuart Smith being spotlighted- a veteran who found a new purpose and a path to healing through professional wrestling.
