[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Gatoh Move match announced for the Michinoku Pro 12/17/21 Tokyo event!

On December 17 at the Korakuen Hall (the Madison Square Garden of Japan), Michinoku Pro will present their biggest show of the year.

At the December 2020 and June 2021 Michinoku Pro events in Tokyo, legend and AEW star Emi Sakura and wrestlers from her Gatoh Move promotion made appearances to show all of the fans in attendance the fast action, comedy, surprises, and high-flying maneuvers that are trademarks of Gatoh Move matches. Sakura has been wrestling for AEW full-time since August, but wrestlers from her promotion will once again be appearing at a Michinoku Pro event, this time at Michinoku Pro’s biggest event of 2021.

The exciting Gatoh Move match will feature Masahiro Takanashi & Yuna Mizumori vs. Baliyan Aki & Sayaka!

Although representing Gatoh Move in this match, Masahiro Takanashi has appeared in Michinoku Pro in the past representing BASARA (a sub-brand of DDT) as Union Pro MAX Champion at the February 2020 Michinoku Pro event in Tokyo. He is also a former Asia Dream Tag Team Champion.

Yuna Mizumori previously represented Gatoh Move at the June 2021 Michinoku Pro event in Tokyo, and she is a 2-time former Asia Dream Tag Team Champion.

Baliyan Akki previously represented Gatoh Move at the December 2020 and June 2021 Michinoku Pro events in Tokyo, and he is a current co-holder of the Asia Dream Tag Team Championship with Mei Suruga, who has represented Gatoh Move at Michinoku Pro and Sendai Girls events. Akki and Suruga are the third longest-reigning holders of the Championship in Gatoh Move history.

Sayaka will be representing Gatoh Move at a Michinoku Pro event in Tokyo for the first time. Trained by Emi Sakura, Sayaka has been wrestling in Gatoh Move for two years and has also wrestled for DDT.
